The fundraiser held in the beautiful Steelhead Park in Houston BC on a blistering July 22nd was a resounding success!!
Here it is at a peaceful 6.30 am before the early birds arrive.
Our professional panhandler and official greeter Rayla (a Turtle Gardens alumni of 2000) was the hit of the day and she raised $100 with her little basket
She was a big hit and a wonderful ambassador for Turtle Gardens. Here she is working her mark!
There was something for everyone. A lot of information about Turtle Gardens, our new Low Cost Spay Neuter Voucher Program and showing our dogs doing agility, rally o or just great family companion. Looking for a dog - get a winner!
Ribbons won by Rayla - SATCH (agility title), Rally-O Excellence MCL(obedience title)Rayla was 4th at the Agility AAC National in 2005 in Saskatoon, Tassie - VAADC, Rally-O Novice CL and Shadow - VATCH (agility title - he was 4th in the BC and Yukon Regionals in his division and 7th at the Canadian Nationals Agility Championship in 2001) AN all around marvelous first dog! All adopted from Turtle Gardens- Champions all!!
