More TG Adoptions!
Thank you so much to Stan and daughter Kelsey for your incredible help in sending our furry firiends to their families. And Stan for taking the van to the car wash, ripping out the smelly carpet, presure washing the whole inside and out and putting smaller rugs that can be removed and washed to stay clean. Now the TG Bus smells clean and can really transport our furry friends in comfort! Thank you son! Stan also bought 14 bags of food so that there would be a surplus while I am away visiting my eldery parents (Dad used his airmiles to ensure I visit!!!
) I am very happy staying home so this is a wrench for me to leave for 2 weeks. Then Sam of Bully Buddies arrived with a whole van load of very good quality food! Sam fosters and adopts my pittie/bullie/staffie mixes which are very hard to place up here. She does an exemplary job placing her dogs. Many KUDOS to Sam and Bully Buddies!! Reuben is the latest but we have sent Titus, Xia and her daughter Xiu, Otter, Toonie, Hoochie, Shelagh (not a bullie but an emergency!), and more that I can’t remember right now
. Awesome work for awesome dogs! Thank you.
Also a big THANK YOU to Gerald who transported Lunar today - the rain forced one cancellation then Stan and Dad got lost and missed that flight so Gerald to the rescue this morning! You obviously know dogs well - Lunar is in very capable hands and Tamara will have her boy today. Thank you.
And now the adoptions. This is Christianne with Phife adopted last year from TG - he is Dave’s little Ragamuffin’s brother!!
Meeting little Kenny.
Now - look at that grin!! Kenny is happy.
Here is little Brier meeting Maggie - also from Turtle Gardens - adopted last year! You can’t have just one!!
A perfect match!
And our first email -
Hi there Yvette! Just wanted to say thanks for Brier arriving safe and sound. She is really settling in well. When I picked her up yesterday she was pretty scared. She shook all the way home. After a bath, some food and Maggie growling in her face for a while, she settled in quite nicely. Maggie is still bossing her around and I expect that to happen for a while, but she seems happy anyway. I’ll send some pictures soon! J The whole family is really happy with her.
We have renamed her Maxine (Max or Maxi for short) and she’s already starting to listen when being called. Pretty smart little thing. Between the 2 of them, they’ll be running the house pretty soon! Well, they probably do already. So, we’re up and running and I hope your family gets home safe and sound! Talk to you soon! J

Hello Yvette,
Thank you for bringing him safely to us, he is a wonderful addition to our family. Take care and I’ll be in touch!
Kenny is wonderful! We renamed him KANYE and he responds well to his new name. During the car ride home, he was calm and just curious about Phife and his surroundings. He had a bath, met the rest of the family and started cuddling with almost everyone right away. Phife was growling at him for a while but after a few “sniffs”, they started to play fetch together!
He is enjoying his new home and is loving all the attention and all the toys.

His name used to be Keno! I changed him to Kenny - as I didn’t like Keno!! lol He is a busy, affectionate little fellow - he must be gorgeous after his bath - so fluffy. Take care, Yvette
