He is an awesome dog and very affectionate but he does try to "push" his weight. He is great here - he knows I am top Dog and abides by the rules - he greets all visotors man or dog with a wagging tail. He is "controlled" with just a touch on his massive head - he is always at my side and his head is waist high! He knows that I am in charge so he isn't. Just a wonderful dog but needs an experienced dog owner! He is also very playful, helps "carry" firewood and can jump this fence - but he isn't a wanderer. He is a "nanny" to all the pups, even the tinies love him - everyone sleeps on or around him. He is a house dog too. Likes the woodstove.
