Turtle Gardens needs a foster home in Vancouver

Filed under: Uncategorized — yvette @ 10:24 pm

Snoopy thought he had a forever home when he took the TG Bus down to Surrey on February 16th. His new mom and dad live on the same property as his dad and step-mom. Dad said a dog was ok. So Snoopy arrived. Stepmom went ballistic and said Snoopy had to go - no dogs allowed. Snoopy is in a temporary foster - very short term. He needs a foster home that will take him for the time it will take to find him a new family - a forever family.

Snoopy is 4 months old,  a black/white and tan lab/hound puppy. He asks for the door to potty, is crate trained, walks on a leash, knows sit and shake-a-paw. He is very friendly, smart and a soft, soft puppy. Can anyone help Snoopy find his new home?

UPDATE: Snoopy has gone for a sleep-over! Keep fingers and paws crossed thta this is his home!

  1. i have contacted several people, will continue to do so, i am so sorry i can’t take him in too, but Riley being so new here, dont’ want to tip the balance, my daughter always wanted me to get Snoopy, but is really happy to have met Riley and agrees we made a good choice, being away at school with housemates who all want a dog they have asked the land lord, NOOO, he said,
too bad, they would spoil Snoopy. Will keep trying.

  2. Hi There. I noticed you are looking for a foster home for Snoopy. I would love to be considered as a candidate for Snoopy’s foster home. Although I live downtown, I only work 5 hours a day Monday to Friday, so I would be home to take him out in the mornings, the late afternoons as well as the evenings. And of course on the weekends he could go for much longer walks. I live in a dog friendly apartment. My boyfriend lives wih me, and we have opposite work schedules so if Snoopy were to stay here he would be sure to get enough attention. There are many dogs around here, so Snoopy could get some socializing in as well. I have experience with dogs as I used to own a Springer Spaniel and my parents had also owned a dog grooming shop where I often helped out. I have also dog-sitted for a friend. Snoopy seems like a sweet dog. Please feel free to call me if you would like to come and look at the apartment and neighbourhood. (604) 537-2435
