The TG Bus has Arrived!

Filed under: Uncategorized — yvette @ 10:03 am

Dave has arrived in Surrey with all the dogs safe and sound.  All the four legged passengers were quiet and well behaved. Emily was a bit of a suck and had to sleep under the blanket with T - my grandaughter Kelsey’s best buddy! Emmie was cold! Will update as the Happy Ending emails arrive!

Sometimes you have to stop and smell the flowers!

Nipper, Possum and Danny smell the flowers Lorna gave me yesterday. Spring is in my kitchen! Thank you Lorna. Lorna also took Annie home with her to foster! Updates to follow as Lorna gets to know Annie.

The first Happy endings:
Jenny is playing with a ball as I send this.  She is a dear little thing and
likes her squeaky toy!  The view has Bowyer Island on the left, Bowen Island
in the middle and Gambier Island on the right.  We live on Howe Sound, just
north of Horseshoe Bay.

We’ll work on the house training, and I think we’ll get her over to "doing
her business" outside.

Thanks again Yvette, and we’ll keep you posted.

The view!

A tired pup!

  Still tired.

Finally alert and ready to play!

Number 2:

Hi Yvette… just a quick note to tell you how happy we are will Nell. She’s
beautiful and she seems happy too! I’ll keep in touch - Yvonne

Number 3:

just picked up Emily and she is beautiful. I rescued another little Terrier from a puppy mill, she had puppies and they all died so they were going to put her down so I had to get her. They are getting to know each other so I think they will be life long friends. Thank you again for letting me adopt her. I sure am glad that there are people like you who shares the love of animals as I do.

               Again thanks, Larry

Number 5 and 6"

I received a phone call from Wendy and Gloria who brought home Brie and Nan. Nan waltzed in as if sh eowned  th eplace! She is confident, happy and super friendly. What a joy. While Brie was scared - she soon stopped shaking while in Wendy’s coat - she was at th estable when Gloria arrived with her new baby. Brie is doing well and was sleeping in her bed with her new homemade blankie and he rtoys. Little Sally Ann is entralled - she has a  playmate smaller than herself! Two mor every happy adopters!

Number 7:

Hi Yvette, Well Holly is home. We picked her up around 7:30 last night. She was a little car shy, but she managed to get in the car with  some encouragement. She was very busy on the drive home with all the lights and sights, but eventually decided a nap was in order. She is adjusting well this morning. We have already been for an hour walk around town, and to the off leash park. She is very sharp, as the 2 skunks we crossed path with this morning will testify too. Glad I saw them before she did, and managed to tighten up on the leash before disaster struck and we both got stinky.
She is now fast asleep after her breakfast on her new bed. She is so very cute, and well behaved. Thanks for saving her and helping to make her part of our family, for Melindas first Dog, she is perfect. Melinda has taken to her immediately
We sent you $400 dollars, (Wow - thank you so very much - our vet bill needs all the help it can get!) and will be sending some more next month to help out. If you need any help or home visits done, let us know, we would be happy to help.
We’ll send some pictures when we have some taken.

Hugs and Kisses from Holly, Melinda & Keith.
