The TG Bus has left Topley!!
Dave left with a full TG Bus at 7.20 pm. I will update as soon as Lorna and I catch our breath and eat supper!! Jaxon is gone but he did try to escape and come back to me. Sorry I spoilt him
On this trip - Chewie, Paisley, Bonnie Lassie, Chaska, Coon, Orion, Sady, Survivor, Ned and Jaxon is going home again! Four of Bonnie’s pups and four of Serene’s pups are going to Langley Animal Society Shelter and the Maple Ridge Prison program.
And a local adoption! Tinkerbell found her family!! A very large family!!! She will live with 5 children which she took in her stride - she lived with 4 kids before. They seemed like very nice, well behaved kids too. Tinkerbelle thought so too. They took Tinker up to Sunset Lake for a hour to see how she was away from TG. Once they came back papers were signed, and Tinkerbelle jumped into the car and was going home! A very busy day and boy is it quiet now! - 20 dogs gone in two days!!

He’s such a sucker for you, Yvette! I think he’ll be happy enough to be back with the gang, here, though.

Hurray for all the dogs going to new homes! Hurray for TG for giving them the time they needed to find their new homes.
Post pics of arrivals with their new ‘parents’, I love those!

8 puppies arrived, as Dave let each one out of the van they pee - d all over me, i halped process and bathe them, Dear Carrie took her day off (when she was supposed to be moving), to help out, we considered fostering all of thm, then the prison program (not Maple Ridge, but Abbotsford), was able to take 6 right away, they are bonding and socalizing with HUMANS not dogs right away, it was hard for me not to foster one, but i am only with animals, no humans, (i actually prefer it that way ha, ha), anyway, found two fostes witih human and dog social interaction for the two others ( a farm for the big guy, who is already tesing his grounds.)
so yes, a busy day, Dave looked very well considering how long he had to drive, we are happy to help, Dave got o see lovely Riley (from TG in trips past), along with her wolf brother Bear, who is still getting everyone into trouble, the escape artist , but she is such a good puppy, newver ventureing far and obedient, we are lucky to have her, and wish that our bylaws allowed more dogs for adoption, not just foster.
anyhow, puppies are with a human to sleep with tongiht, their very own human, which will train them in the next weeks, spaying and neutering starts soon, then after they are settled, healthy and trained a bit, up for adoption. beautiful all of them!!!
all the best, see you in a month? on our camping adventures with dogs. Marka & furry friends
