A birthday donation for Turtle Gardens!

Filed under: Turtle Gardens Diary — yvette @ 2:12 pm

Brook and her family adopted beautiful Raven a few months ago and they are very pleased with her calm gentle temperament. When asked what she wanted for her birthday party Brook replied " I want to help Turtle Gardens where Raven came from instead of presents" And an idea formed with her mom for an Animal Education Birthday Party! All the games would be animal related and the theme would be Responsible Pet Care!

The first 1 is of the birthday girl (Brook) and her sister Grace and friend Michelle,

the second is Brook and the cake

last here is Laura the cake hog

Cole rolling the ball with his nose

Deborah doing the same

Walk the dog race

Matching tail race

all the kids!

All in all Brook raised $113 for Turtle Gardens. It was matched by Terrace Petland - Thank you Petland! The entire family came out today in the pouring rain to deliver the dogfood and to show me lovely Raven!! What a gorgeous, calm sweetheart of a dog she turned out to be!! Brooke - you are an inspiration for us all!  It does my heart and soul good to see your unselfish desire to help our dogs. Thank you Brook - you rock!

Brook and the dogfood and a box of treats !

  1. Brook, what a wonderful idea. And your party looks like so much fun. Where did you get the ideas for the games from, that would be so cool to do with other kids. Raven is lucky to have such a great family.

  2. You should be proud of yourself, Brook, for your kind and giving heart.
