I woke up this morning and reached for my glasses and found nothing!!! OH oh, my glasses got dogged I am blind without my glasses. I was banging around and woke up Dave with the panic in my voice. Worse I could not remember where my spare glasses are either. I stumbled through the yard to the red house and the bathroom, checking all the places I used to put stuff - but those places are all gone! The red house is empty!!! So I meandered back to the blue house and sat down to think. I checked under my bed - a rollaway cot and under the foot I saw a flash. Lo and behold my glasses sat there UNTOUCHED - not chewed as I envisioned. All is well in my world.

I enjoyed a great cup of coffee - Dave made coffee and started the bacon and eggs while I was stumbling around!! Isn’t he just  the coolest!! It will be a very busy day today so a hearty breakfast will hold us all until a late supper at 7 pm or dark.

Pounding in the wall level. Each section has to be pounded while the sill is jacked up so everything is level - first time ever!!

Dave and Bear are on saw detail - cutting the boards for the walls.

The other corner - the back wall is nearly done! This is the fifth section of wall up!

Finally level! Tomorrow will see most of the walls done. Then the front will be dug out - it is holding up the house so it won’t tip over!! The last forms will be built, cement poured and the last wall put up. The crawl space will be complete - the house will be level and if anything needs to be done there will be room to stand up to repair it!! Finally the new floors will be put in. And TG will be new and improved. In October???
