Glad to hear that it made it up!
To be honest it was REALLY fun to dash around the lower mainland getting the dog food - I brought my boys ages 3 & 4 and we pretended to be Deigo animal rescue helpers. All the staff at Bandstra and Anipet were fantastic people, everyone was helpful and excited to be doing a great thing for such a good cause.
We look forward to being able to do this again!

Help, where is the rest of the post? I was getting into this story about the cat with Jerry, every time I take a foster I watch my cats very carefully around the new dog. It does seem to me that my cats have a sense of who is safe and who isn't, some dogs they just walk right past and pretty well ignore them, others they are very wary about even coming into the house if the new dog is there. They have never been wrong yet!
Sounds like you guys are very committed and informed owners, Jerry has struck it lucky.

Ha ha - Yvette, Hunter sounds like a pretty typical beagle to me!!! They are pretty sneaky at finding ways out of fenced yards too - regular little Houdinis. Oh, and their tummies rule - they can learn to open fridge doors!
Have fun with him.
