Turtle Gardens has some pictures!

Filed under: Turtle Gardens Diary — yvette @ 4:35 pm

What a wonderful day today - perfect weather, perfect things to do, perfect people to do them with - PERFECT! But first here is some pictures of a few days ago:
Jude, Cynda and I at our meeting in White Spot.

And here is Sharon too:

This is the Raffle draw at ESCAPES.CA

First off is Chris of escapes.ca - your vacation specialist who donated the grand prize with Jude, Cynda and I.

Chris who drew the tickets was blindfolded!

Next the winner was written down, the time drawn - what a lot of meticulous detail!!

Cynda then called each winner:

This is the camera man for Japanese TV!! My brain went totally blank when he clipped the microphone on but I managed!

We then dashed to Everett Crowley park for the Hike with TG Reunion!!

For dogs lots of dogs:

Meeting Ellen and Cheryl!

Cynda with Teya!

Meeting Jean and her wonderful dogs!

Dogs loved the treatman - Peter who adopted Kona - Maya, Peaches and Rosa begging!

The longest time adopter was Masako and Annie - adopted almost 6 years ago!

Jude and beautiful Maxine!

There are several pictures I would very much like to see - the group picture and the Nala Family pictures. Please if you took pictures please email me or post them on facebook. Let’s all enjoy them!!

  1. It was indeed very nice to meet you, Yvette after all these years, and also other people behind this event and TG Alumni. I was honored that you remembered us and at the same time very impressed with your memory. You told me about Annie’s four siblings who all came to TG six years ago. My husband and I had been curious how Annie’s siblings looked like. I now feel as though I’ve finally found the missing link. Two years ago I met Lorna and Rayla at the 2006 National Agility Championship at Burnaby thanks to your then newly started blog, and Lorna told me a few things about Annie and her brother, Jedi (who you said was adopted in Vancouver Island). Now the story of Annie has become complete!!!! You made my day!!!
