Peanut came home from his neuter spry and alert and focused totally on Dave and the TG Bus – he loves to go for rides -neuter trip or not!! He is one happy boy cuz his antagonist did not come back with him. Call was adopted at the Driftwood Vet Clinic! A friend of the vet tech was looking for a red heeler and Call fit the bill – he is such a nice boy with people! And now that he is neutered he will be so much better with dogs too. Good luck Call.
Peanut with Jackie – a small dog
Here are a few pictures from this morning:

Peanut with a big dog – note the “don’t kill me” posture

Oh it was ok – Dillon is very dog social with good skills

Here he is again acting the “victim”

©Turtle Gardens Animal Rescue Society. Have your pet spayed or neutered today.

Peanut must be so exhausted living with all that fearfulness, our Havanese went around with her tail between her legs for a month or so when we first got her. Not so bad in the house but out on walks for sure. What a sweet photo of Isaac stretched out there helping to calm him a little, maybe he will become Uncle Isaac! Yvette do the Turtle Gardens dogs not have to wear those Elizabethian collars that all the vets down here make the dogs wear after they are spayed or neutered??Thanks, Lynda

Hello Lynda,
It is making sure the girls stay quiet for a couple of days that is the most difficult! Which is why our dogs all get stitches!
I watch them for licking but it really doesn’t seem to be a problem – they are so busy with each other. I have the e collars here just in case I need them. Just got bunch from down south.
