Mom Hannah Montana and her remaining puppy are doing very well. Puppy is active and moving around. Hannah has finally slowed down her eating and drinking. She now knows the food and water bowls are always full. She goes in and out – she really really enjoys her indoor life. She has been clean ever since she learned the door open both ways! Just a couple of mistakes – she is a very smart girl.
Duchess and her crew are doing very well. Such a nice bunch of dogs.
Balsam actually wagged her tail today!! She didn’t duck her head either when I reached down to pet her. How cool is that! And Leaf her adopted son is also much friendlier.
The chessie is a dream. She sure is everything I love about chessies. My memories of Sara are flooding me! It is funny that once a favorite breed always a favorite even when you know you don’t have the energy for her kind of training and lifestyle. But I can enjoy her while she is here!
Two more pound dogs waiting to come in. Both very nice dogs I am told but then aren’t they all?

It is amazing how such short time spent in a loving home (Turtle Gardens) changes how they inactive with people from when they first arrived.
Balsam is finding out not all people are mean and cruel.
Now their next journey is to their loving homes, what a happy thought.
