A Short Telephone Blog From Dad (Dave)

February 22nd, 2009

As usual, when there is no internet or power, we do a short telephone blog.  Aka, Mom usually calls me in the city and dictates a blog for me to post.  But this time it’s Dad calling.

We have a really unusual situation at TG.  On Friday Mom was admitted to the hospital for tests.  Now when Mom gets sick we have a hard time replacing her.  This time is no exception.  It’s taking three very capable people to replace her at TG.  Dad, Bear, and Brian are beginning to understand what it’s like to walk a mile in Mom’s shoes.  And for such small shoes, they are incredibly hard to fill.  I am sure all is well for the dogs at TG… but the three people may have headaches!  I will try to keep all our TG friends apprised of the situation… But please be patient, as Mom will not be answering emails or calls for the next short while.

Stay tuned for another short update tomorrow.

Thanks for the updates, Stan and Dave. We really appreciate hearing what is happening, even when it is worrying. “No news” has been making us very concerned. Our fingers and paws are crossed for Mama Yvette to get all better, and we send all the best to all of you, with special wishes to the crew who are valiantly holding the fort.

    Hi Auntie Yvette,
Mommy says you are in the hospital getting all kinds of tests done. She says the doctors are poking you
with lots of needles and taking many pictures of your insides. Mommy says once the doctors find out
why you are having breathing problems, they will find a way to to get you fixed just like new. Sometimes I
can’t breathe when Gryphon sits on me….hoping you will be home real soon cause I hear Jillian and the
rest of the crew miss you very much!

    love,
    Teya & Gryphon
