Congratulations Little Girl, her adoption is being finalized Thursday and she will be going to a wonderful home here in Terrace. She has had a few visits with the family and a sleep over on the weekend and she and the resident dog (new brother) get along grand. It’s a good match for her.
We have two dogs coming down to us this Thursday. One female dog coming in, there is a small male dog coming in as well, we do not know much about him except that he was dumped. There may also be one more dog coming, I guess we will find out Thursday. I will post some pictures of them next week.
Some sad news…………………one of our elderly dogs that were adopted to a wonderful home in January passed away this weekend. She was old, 14-15 years of age. She was given the new name of Gracie as they felt that by keeping her old name which meant never belonging to a place was not who she was meant to be anymore. She passed away on the 20th, Saturday night. I was shocked to find this out as that night I dreamt about Gracie and just sitting outside with her and petting her. She was there with my dog Mudd who passed away in June last year. I thought it was strange they would be together in a dream as they never where in life. I had thought it a strange dream and did not think much of it other then a reminder to email and ask how Gracie was doing. I do not know how else to look at it other then maybe it was a goodbye? Whatever it was she will be missed, she was an incredibly sweet dog who deserved a much better life then she was given before her elder years. May she rest in peace.
We also received some up-dated pictures of Mac! My how he has grown! Looks like he is certainly living the life!
