Hello Yvette,
I just attended the webinar on Fraud Prevention and it was informative. CanadaHelps.org is VERY up to date on the latest technology to ensure donor safety. The presentation by the RCMP officer was the most enlightening – watch out for those unsolicited phone calls! We have been using CanadaHelps.org because it offers secure CANADIAN service and generated donor receipts immediately but they also have an new program for Fraud Awareness Month (March).
We need to send as many people as possible (separate email for each) to do the QUIZ and enter Turtle Gardens as their charity of choice at the end of it. There is a weekly prize of $1000 and a grand prize of $20,000. I just did the quiz and it provides valuable information and takes just a few minutes. I entered Turtle Gardens – Topley BC when asked for the charity name.
Please ask everyone to complete the quiz AND tell everyone they know to do it as well. Because this is Canadian and only requires ONE entry per person it is a much better option than the daily vote one where we never seem to get past 3rd place.

Yes, we need to go ‘viral’ with this and get everyone to do the quiz but also pass along the link. It is a co-operative effort by CanadaHelps, RCMP and Govt of Canada so hopefully people will support TG with a few minutes.
